Soliant Education seeks a skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team in Newton, MA.
This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to support students' emotional, behavioral, and academic development in a dynamic educational setting.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated professional to conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, develop intervention strategies, and provide counseling services to students.
The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in assessment, consultation, and intervention planning, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough psychological evaluations to assess students' learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and support services to students individually and in groups
- Assist in the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Support crisis intervention and promote mental health awareness within the school community
- Utilize data to inform decisions and improve student outcomes
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist Certification required
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention planning
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Petitive salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
