Reports to: District Store Director, Store Managers, Assistant Managers of Store Operations, Perishables, Health Wellness Home, Hy-Chi Department Manager, Assistant Hy-Chi Department Manager, Service Managers
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt and friendly service, treating every customer interaction with care and respect.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store.
- Foster relationships by learning and using customers' names during interactions.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing helpful service and taking orders as needed.
- Process customer orders at the Hy-Chi Department counter efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain a positive work environment.
- Review daily orders and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed.
- Monitor food freshness and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Prepare and replenish food items as necessary.
- Handle product deliveries and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Operate the department register and manage transactions effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness by removing trash and ensuring a tidy work area.
- Adhere to personal hygiene and dress code standards set by the company.
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning as required.
- Order supplies and manage product pricing as needed.
- Support other departments as necessary.
- Engage in other job-related tasks and special projects as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent experience, with six months or less of related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
- Visual acuity to perform tasks effectively.
- Capability to engage in various physical activities including standing, walking, and lifting.
This role involves exposure to various elements such as flour, dust, and temperature fluctuations. It is a fast-paced environment that may involve pressure during peak times.
Equipment Utilized:
Includes ovens, steamers, scales, mixers, and other kitchen equipment.
Contact:
