RN Per Diem-Medicine Specialties Nurse

UC San Diego Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated RN Per Diem-Medicine Specialties to join our team. As a key member of our ambulatory care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct phone triage and manage individual patient case management
- Provide point-of-care testing, collect and prepare laboratory tests, and administer injections
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in continuing education activities and self-directed learning to stay current with the latest developments in the field
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- RN license issued by the State of California
- BART or BLS certification at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within six months
- Minimum of two years of recent ambulatory RN experience
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- BSN/MSN degree
- RN Case Management experience
- Familiarity with multi-disciplinary environments, including specialty areas of Allergy, Immunology, Angioedema, Endocrinology, Thyroid, Osteoporosis, and Diabetes
