Home Manager I

Evergreen Life Services Texas is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Home Manager I to oversee the daily operations of our community homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents, while also maintaining a high level of quality care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the work performance of all direct care staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement effective staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime.
- Collect, assimilate, and submit all necessary documentation for payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to staff.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, rules, and regulations, including administration of discipline, corrections, and reinforcements as required.
- Conduct staff meetings, providing training and education as needed, and fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Responsible for the health and welfare of our residents, including scheduling medical appointments, advocating for their rights, and enhancing their quality of life.
- Oversee all care and maintenance of the buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.
- Manage finances within the assigned budget, processing invoices and submitting them to the home office in a timely manner.
- Keep overtime to a minimum, while ensuring adequate staffing to meet the needs of our residents.
- Ensure all house inventories are complete and proper amounts are available as needed, while maintaining responsible utility, repair, and transportation expenses.
- Be in compliance with the standards for the annual survey, preparing and submitting all required documents in a timely manner.
- Oversee individual resident finances, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed in the administration of such.
- Maintain relationships with resident families, working to ensure the best outcome for our residents.
- Serve as a role model for both residents and staff, embodying the values and mission of Evergreen Life Services Texas.
- Follow and enforce all policies and procedures of Evergreen Life Services Texas, including all applicable laws and regulations.
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D; college degree preferred.
- CMA certification within two (2) years of beginning Home Manager position.
- At least three (3) years of direct support experience; some supervisory experience.
- Ability to communicate both in written and oral form.
- Good organizational skills with an eye for details.
- Constantly moves about to coordinate work.
- Regularly works in fast-paced environment with multiple task deadlines.
- Regularly moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditions.
- Constantly alert and observant during working hours.
