The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in labor and employment law, with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including wage and hour, employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA, and other workplace accommodations.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored documents, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting and defending depositions, and attending court appearances.
  • Interact with clients and opposing counsel, and provide guidance on employment-related policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the ELWM practice group to develop and implement effective strategies for managing labor and employment law risks.
Requirements
  • Admission to practice law in California is mandatory.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent communication and writing skills are essential.
  • Experience handling complex labor and employment law matters, including wage and hour, Title VII, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, and similar state laws.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
