A well-established and expanding organization with numerous distribution centers and a national clientele is seeking a qualified individual with expertise in supply chain management, analysis, and process optimization. This role will report to the Supply Chain Supervisor within a vibrant organization that offers significant growth opportunities and a positive work environment.

The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter capable of working independently; prioritizing tasks and processes; collaborating with various stakeholders; managing substantial product volumes; and fostering excellent customer relationships through exceptional service. The organization operates with a high transaction volume, a diverse customer base, and a national distribution framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with suppliers to ascertain minimum order quantities and lead times to ensure timely delivery to customer locations.
  • Oversee programs and collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Order Processing to guarantee that delivery targets are met at optimal costs. Analyze and monitor metrics related to On-Time Delivery and Inventory Turns.
  • Communicate with distribution centers as required and provide necessary support or information to enhance processes or procedures.
  • Establish regular communication with suppliers and customers to ensure program objectives are achieved.
  • Develop or refine reporting, forecasting, and operational metrics for performance evaluation.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant business discipline is required, with a preference for Logistics, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management concentrations.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, preferably in the automotive parts or accessories sector. Purchasing experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal staff at all levels, as well as suppliers and external customers.
  • Proficiency in MRP systems and Microsoft Office software, particularly strong Excel capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially regarding data and numerical information.
  • Self-motivated and energetic, demonstrating a positive work ethic.
