Comunilife is seeking a skilled Case Manager to join its team in Jamaica, Queens. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting intakes, initial skills assessments, and providing case management services for new immigrant and refugee clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen potential clients for program enrollment and orient them to the program and its objectives.
  • Conduct initial intake assessments and utilize assessment tools to identify support service needs.
  • Provide assistance to clients in the job placement process, including taking clients to interviews and helping with application completion.
  • Track and monitor participant progress, overseeing weekly follow-up sessions and mentoring and counseling as needed.
  • Maintain confidential case records and collaborate with outside agencies to refer or obtain additional client services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Public Administration preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Good writing skills required.
  • Some customer service and job readiness experience preferred.

Comunilife offers a generous benefits and paid time off package. The salary range for the Case Manager is $40,000 to $50,000 a year.
