Quality Technician - Day Shift

As a member of the Motherson Group, this organization specializes in the design and production of plastic components and modules for the automotive sector, emphasizing employee engagement and growth to meet the demands of the automotive supply chain.

We are seeking a qualified Quality Technician to become part of our team. In this position, you will be tasked with supervising audits of processes and products within your designated area. You will work closely with quality engineering teams to guarantee that audit documentation is properly maintained while also managing various additional responsibilities as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with quality engineering to obtain necessary audit documentation
  • Perform daily audits of processes to confirm adherence to control measures
  • Ensure compliance with specifications in the assigned area
  • Develop and oversee Quality Alerts
  • Assist in Containment procedures for identified defects
  • Work alongside the color harmony team
  • Measure surface characteristics such as orange peel and gloss
  • Support Color Technicians in their tasks
  • Conduct administrative duties including data entry and filing
  • Assist with other assigned responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
  • Proficient in time management, business writing, and general computer skills
  • Understanding of manufacturing principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong Communication Skills
