Job Summary

The University Hospital seeks a skilled Advanced Practice Nurse, FICN to provide high-quality care for high-risk newborn infants in the Mother-Baby Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Units (FICN and FIN Nurseries), and Labor and Delivery areas.

About the Role

This is a collaborative position that requires working under the administrative, clinical direction, and leadership of the Director of the Neonatology Program. The successful candidate will interact with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses and healthcare providers, to provide primary care and support patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the care of high-risk newborn infants in collaboration with the Director of Neonatology, Attending Neonatologist, Nurse Manager, and nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with community agencies, including DCP&P and community nursing services, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey with a minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • Currently licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
  • At least two years of related nursing experience required.
  • BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
Benefits

University Hospital offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
