Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Foreman to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading and directing the work of assigned crew members, ensuring the safety and quality of our products, and promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to assigned crew members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Accountable for the safety, product quality, productivity, and cost control performance of the Maintenance Department.
  • Represent the company through words and actions, promoting a positive image and building strong relationships with employees and stakeholders.
  • Review and approve employee times/punches for payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Visualize future needs and plan accordingly, ensuring the department is equipped to meet the demands of the business.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, providing clear instructions and feedback to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Promote a team environment, encouraging collaboration and open communication among employees.
  • Ensure employees receive proper training and instruction on assigned tasks, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Provide discipline as needed, including desired corrective action, to ensure employees are held accountable for their performance.
  • Ensure employees follow proper safety procedures, providing regular safety talks and training to promote a culture of safety.
  • Ensure the plant remains in compliance with safety, internal, and external audits, maintaining a high level of quality and integrity.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong background in maintenance and operations, with experience in leading and directing teams. You'll also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders.
