WORK HOURS: 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday

JOB OVERVIEW

· MINDBANK Consulting Group is actively seeking a Senior Software Developer with extensive hands-on experience in Java 8 backend development.

· Our client's team is expanding and this represents a valuable opportunity for candidates with senior-level Java 8 skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for supporting significant initiatives. Qualified candidates can expect prompt interview opportunities with our client.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Candidates must have a minimum of six (6) years of professional Java 8 development experience within an Agile development environment, including SCRUM methodologies or similar rapid development cycles.

· Candidates should have progressively responsible experience in designing, modifying, developing, and implementing Java EE applications.

· The following skills are currently utilized within this team. Please ensure your resume reflects your experience with these tools and technologies.

· Java 8+ (strong, senior-level experience required), Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, LESS, SASS

· Exceptional backend development skills are necessary.

· Proficiency in developing DAGs (Directed Acyclic Graphs) is required.

· Frameworks: React (16+, Hooks)/ Angular, NodeJS, Spring, Groovy/Grails

· Testing Libraries: e.g., Jest, Selenium

· Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript transpiling, CSS Preprocessors

· Templating (Handlebars, GSP)

· Version control systems: Git (GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab)

· Webpack, NPM

· REST or GraphQL experience is essential.

· Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tracking tools (Scrum, Jira)

· Knowledge of cloud technologies: Containers (Docker/Podman), Public cloud (GCP/AWS), Microservices

· Operating systems: Linux, Windows

· Additional technologies in use: Apache Kafka, Elastic Stack, Apache NiFi, GDB, Valgrind, Apache JMeter, Artifactory/Nexus, Nginx, HAProxy, Glowroot, Drupal 7
