Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Dimension Hospitality is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Rooms, Food and Beverage, and Engineering disciplines of the hotel, ensuring that established revenue, cost, and quality standards are maintained. This role will also serve as a liaison between the General Manager and department managers, meeting or exceeding hotel budget, guest satisfaction, and associate satisfaction guidelines and franchisee expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Rooms Division, Food and Beverage Division, and Engineering discipline to ensure operational excellence and maximize profits.
  • Develop and implement new programs to increase guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner and ensure that daily inventory is managed to maximize room revenue.
  • Supervise the food and beverage department to maintain established operational standards and maximize profits.
  • Establish and maintain cost control systems for all rooms and food and beverage related inventories.
  • Participate in the development of short-term and long-term financial and operational plans for the hotel.
  • Monitor and maintain property-specific cleanliness guidelines in all areas of the property.
  • Oversee transient and package advertising opportunities and ensure hotel participation in brand-specific programs.
  • Ensure high associate morale by rewarding team members who meet or exceed guest expectations.
  • Oversee the implementation and development of all training programs.
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 5 years of leadership experience in hotel operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
