Job Description

Marriott International Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team at Courtyard. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing Property Operations
    • Develop and implement property-wide strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
    • Lead a team of managers to ensure seamless execution of daily operations, including food and beverage, sales and marketing, and human resources.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Managing Food and Beverage Operations
    • Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of food and beverage operations to ensure high-quality products and exceptional guest experiences.
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
    • Lead a team of food and beverage managers to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
  • Managing and Sustaining Sales and Marketing Strategy
    • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and improve revenue.
    • Lead a team of sales and marketing managers to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
    • Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Managing Profitability
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
    • Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
    • Lead a team of managers to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
  • Maintaining Revenue Management Goals
    • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to drive business growth and improve revenue.
    • Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
    • Lead a team of managers to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
  • Managing and Conducting Human Resource Activities
    • Develop and implement human resource strategies to drive business growth and improve employee engagement.
    • Lead a team of human resource managers to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
    • Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Managing Relationships with Property Stakeholders
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve relationships with property stakeholders.
    • Lead a team of managers to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
    • Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years' experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years' experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
Benefits

Marriott International Inc offers a competitive salary range of $94,000 to $116,000 annually, a bonus program, comprehensive health care benefits, 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, employee stock purchase plan at 15% discount, accrued paid time off (including sick leave where applicable), life insurance, group disability insurance, travel discounts, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, health savings account, flexible spending accounts, tuition assistance, pre-tax commuter benefits, other life and work wellness benefits, and may include other incentives such as stock awards and deferred compensation plans.
