Developmental Care Specialist

At Monarch, we strive to provide exceptional care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. As a Developmental Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their personal goals and dreams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals and their families
- Assist clients in achieving their personal goals and dreams
- Provide support and resources to help clients navigate community agencies and services
- Maintain a safe working environment and educate clients on required work procedures and facility rules
- Implement individual plans and document progress
- Substitute in-house or in the community as needed
- Assist with training and mentoring new staff
Requirements:
- Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
