About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team at Babcock Ranch. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and functionality of the community facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the grounds and facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
  • Perform daily upkeep of the community grounds and facilities, including sweeping, hosing, and removing trash
  • Ensure areas around the dumpsters are clear and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed to perform duties
  • Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies
  • Execute additional tasks as required

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years old
  • At least 2 years of grounds keeping/maintenance experience
  • Skills in carpentry, HVAC, electric, plumbing, and other building trades
  • Experience in landscaping, irrigation, and grounds maintenance
  • Must be organized, efficient, and have the ability to recognize the level of quality acceptable to keep facilities looking their best
  • Ability to communicate with residents, managers, and peers in an effective way
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Flexibility to work after-hours and weekends
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving history
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical
