You will also be responsible for ensuring that work is completed to a high standard and making effective decisions regarding the cost of repairs. Additionally, you will strive to find better and more efficient ways of repairing and maintaining machinery, actively engage with the operations team to develop a team approach to effective maintenance, and coach and mentor maintenance staff to realize their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct work orders, projects, and personnel to ensure optimal site reliability
  • Prioritize and schedule workload to ensure efficient operation of manufacturing facilities
  • Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance programs
  • Assign priorities from maintenance management system
  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard
  • Make effective decisions regarding cost of repairs
  • Find better and more efficient ways of repairing and maintaining machinery
  • Actively engage with operations team to develop team approach to effective maintenance
  • Coach and mentor maintenance staff to realize their full potential

Requirements:

  • Technical degree, trade school, or military experience
  • Minimum 3 years in plant maintenance
  • Proven experience in management/supervising positions
  • Mechanical, electrical, and automation experience
  • Corrugator or converting manufacturing process experience (preferred)
