Project Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and engineering of top-tier swimming pools and related systems in commercial properties such as hotels, resorts, fitness centers, and public facilities.

To succeed in this role, the candidate should be comfortable taking on various tasks that require different skills and prioritizing their completion accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with on-site management to ensure project success and timely completion.
  • Develop and implement project plans to meet anticipated deadlines and client expectations.
  • Design and engineer custom commercial pools based on client specifications and industry standards.
  • Review and analyze inbound requests for proposals (RFPs) and invitations to bid (ITBs).
  • Develop detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates for pool projects.
  • Work closely with clients, architects, and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and project success.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for potential pool projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, landscape designers, and hotel management to design pool structures that align with the overall theme and luxury standards of the hotel.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the construction process.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and present project proposals to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, innovations, and best practices.
  • Manage the RFI and submittal process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pool design and engineering.
  • Knowledge of pool mechanics, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to conceptualize pool layouts and aesthetics that meet client and guest expectations.
  • Understanding of local health and safety regulations concerning pools.
  • Previous experience in pool construction, maintenance, and design.
  • Technical software proficiency, including AutoCAD or other design software for planning and visualizing pool designs.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot engineering issues while balancing design considerations.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work with architects, engineers, and hotel management.
