Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to work in a school setting in the Granite Falls, WA area. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct and indirect services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions, assessments, and progress monitoring
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that align with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to parents and administrators

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A valid state SLPA license or certification
  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
  • A passion for delivering high-quality services and making a positive impact on students' lives
