Job Overview

As a Commercial Insurance Risk Advisor at World Insurance Associates, LLC., you will play a crucial role in identifying and prospecting new business opportunities. With a focus on commercial lines risk solutions, you will be empowered to provide value to clients by leveraging our unique niche and broad range of solutions. Your primary objective is to bring modern alternative employee benefits to clients, helping them build capital-efficient and employee-centric programs designed to mitigate their unique exposures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • IDentify and solicit new Employee Benefits business opportunities
  • Utilize cold calls, prospecting emails, mail, professional associations, and networking to identify, contact, cultivate, and close new business opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to bring all of World's solutions to clients - beyond employee benefits and enjoy the financial rewards of doing so
  • Identify exposures, make recommendations, and create custom programs to eliminate gaps in coverage
  • Drive account retention and maintain client relationships through renewal workflows

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years+ experience working in an insurance brokerage or carrier
  • Personable and highly motivated to grow personal success
  • Excellent listening skills and consistently demonstrate a strong customer focus as well as a sustained sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Consultative approach and positive attitude when dealing with prospective clients and associates
  • Experience with Employee Benefits and Sales software platforms such as BenefitPoint and sales CRM's like HubSpot
  • Ability to work independently and high degree of interaction with team members
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment by demonstrating teamwork, motivation, positive behavior, and effort to achieve goals and objectives
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess a strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Compensation
As a Commercial Insurance Risk Advisor, your compensation is tied to your effort and performance. You can expect a base salary range of $80,000 to $200,000+, depending on your level of experience and revenue growth potential. Your base salary grows as your book of business expands, offering tremendous potential to significantly exceed the top end of this range.
