Job Title: Commercial Lender

Union State Bank is seeking a skilled Commercial Lender to join our team. As a Commercial Lender, you will be responsible for analyzing the borrowing needs of our customers and prospects, verifying loan applications, and maintaining a loan portfolio that meets customer requirements and is profitable to the bank.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial information to determine strategies for meeting client objectives.
  • Evaluate credit risk of commercial and consumer loan applications.
  • Develop and manage a loan portfolio to maintain growth and monitor delinquency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through proactive communication with external and internal customers.
  • Active in Community Service with an emphasis on serving the disadvantaged segments of the market.
  • Service existing loan customers and review documentation to ensure compliance with bank policy and procedures.
  • Refer new deposit and treasury relationships with customers.
  • Sell additional bank services to existing and prospective clients.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • College degree and advanced banking education preferred.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, and economics.
  • Thorough knowledge of credit analysis and lending practices.
  • Understanding of laws, rules, and regulations affecting banking and lending industry.

  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Approachability.
