Civil Engineering Adjunct Instructor Position

Columbus Technical College is seeking a part-time instructor to teach in the Civil Engineering program. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Civil Engineering and at least three years of full-time work experience in the field. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, evaluating student progress, and assisting with recruitment and retention efforts. The position requires day, night, evening, and online instruction. The successful candidate will be able to work flexible hours and have strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct students in Civil Engineering skill areas
- Develop and implement lesson plans
- Evaluate and record student progress
- Assist with recruitment and retention efforts
- Develop and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering
- At least three years of full-time work experience in Civil Engineering
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer P.E. License
- Documented teaching experience in postsecondary education or training experience
- Documented online teaching/learning experience
