Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Lone Tree, CO. As a Mechanical Engineer - Water Treatment Systems Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for complex water projects, including industrial water treatment, advanced water reuse, and desalination plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for water treatment facilities, including process piping systems, aeration systems, and chemical disinfection systems.
  • Develop project design calculations and equipment specifications for water treatment facilities.
  • Coordinate and communicate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support detailed technical bid analyses for equipment and vendors.
  • Generate design deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, and process simulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification and Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of industry-related mechanical engineering systems design experience in industrial water or wastewater treatment.
  • Experience with Pre-Feed, FEED, EPC, and Design-Build projects.
  • Proficient in developing P&IDs, equipment specifications, and drawings.
