Cardiopulmonary Care Specialist

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients in Dunn Loring, Virginia.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform basic clinical assessments of the cardiopulmonary system with a moderate degree of accuracy.
  • Administer basic respiratory therapeutic interventions, including gas/humidity therapy, bronchial hygiene, and airway management.
  • Establish and manage basic mechanical ventilation with commonly used ventilators.
  • Collect specimens and perform basic diagnostic testing, such as EKG and sputum collection.
  • Interpret basic diagnostic and monitoring data, including spirometry and blood gases.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited CoARC respiratory care program.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Basic Life Support from AHA upon start.
  • Licensed Respiratory Therapist and eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
