Speech Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Speech Therapy Plus LLC in Ramsey, NJ.

As a Speech Therapist, you will work with toddlers, school-aged children, and adolescents to provide skilled intervention and parent training. Our dynamic team focuses on building relationships with families to help children succeed across different environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat clients with a variety of communication disorders
  • Develop treatment plans, determining long and short-term goals, and methods to achieve success for clients with a variety of communication disorders
  • Complete daily treatment notes, maintain records (e.g. progress reports, plan of care etc.).
  • Collaborate with a variety of groups and/or individuals (e.g. parents, teachers, physicians, administration, other professionals, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information, resolving issues and providing services in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain re-assessments of clients services as deemed necessary by facility and/or client's insurance carrier
  • Complete client and parental/caregiver education as well as provide home exercise programs when appropriate
  • Maintain a friendly and supportive rapport with clients, parents/caregiver, and facility co-workers

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of current research and best practices in speech-language pathology
