Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Opportunity

As an Occupational Therapist with PT Solutions Physical Therapy, you will work closely with hospitalized patients to help them regain independence and normalcy through self-care management and Activities of Daily Living. You will be responsible for educating patients, family members, and caregivers on how to assist with daily routines, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible care for our patients.

Clinic Information

PT Solutions Physical Therapy partners with Adventist Health and Rideout to provide quality occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology services. Our clinic is a 209-bed inpatient, acute care, Level III trauma center with Joint Commission accreditation in Total Joint Replacement, Stroke, Bariatric Surgery, Chest Pain, and Cardiac Cath Lab.

Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based care to empower patients to regain their previous level of functioning or progress to the next level of care
  • Establish timely treatment plans for each patient's specific needs
  • Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, fellow clinicians, and other team members
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital with physicians, case management, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an AOTA-approved occupational therapy program
  • State licensure
  • Registered with NBCOT
  • Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
