Job Summary:

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Marysville Post Acute, you will play a vital role in helping residents regain functional independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with the Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide individualized therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADLs) training, and adaptive equipment education.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the OT in implementing individualized treatment plans for residents with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities.
Provide therapy treatments as directed by the OT, including therapeutic exercises, ADLs training, and adaptive equipment education.
Document residents' progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition in compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
Collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team to deliver comprehensive care.
Maintain a positive, encouraging environment that promotes residents' confidence and well-being.

Qualifications:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing in the state of California.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or related healthcare setting (preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a commitment to helping residents achieve their maximum potential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and workload effectively.
