Unit Overview:
Our Cardiac Stepdown Unit is a 36-bed adult fast-paced unit that provides expert and specialized cardiac care to patients with arrhythmias, unstable coronary syndromes, heart failure, and other vascular diagnoses. The unit is equipped with the latest technology and staffed by a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals requiring cardiac monitoring and intermediate-level care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest cardiac care practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
- 2+ years of experience in a cardiac or medical-surgical setting.
- Ability to work day/night rotation, 39-40 hours/week, with weekends required.
