Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutritionist to join our team at Aliya Health Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing nutrition and diet programs to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nutrition and diet programs that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Manage adherence to federal and state laws, regulatory guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure dietary operations align with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Ensure client menu selections are compliant with prescribed diet orders, nutritional adequacy, age, cultural background, and religious practice.
  • Write and modify menus as needed, utilizing established resources and guidelines.
  • Process patient menu selections, update client information, and follow up on requests.
  • Print and process client food service reports, including meal census and food tally reports.
  • Resolve client requests and complaints, and direct members and staff of the Food and Nutrition Services office.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in food, nutrition, food service management, or related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Accredited Dietetic Internship (DI) by the American Dietetic Association (ADA).
  • Food Handler's permit or ServeSafe certification as per state requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
