Job Summary

Newtek One is seeking an Assistant Lending Specialist to join our team. This role will provide exposure to various areas of the business, including lending, insurance, payroll, and technology. The ideal candidate will be driven, hard-working, and eager to launch their career.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Lending Specialist will assist the Lending division in providing outstanding customer service to existing and potential lending customers. This will involve:

  • Assisting in the completion of loan applications and compiling necessary documents.
  • Providing excellent phone manner and communication skills.
  • Working with multiple applications and systems concurrently.
  • Meeting deadlines and planning accordingly.
  • Participating in hands-on training and coaching modules.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Intermediate computer proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Excellent attention to detail, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and plan accordingly.
  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivating and great team work attitude.
  • Ability to quickly learn about company products and services.
  • College degree is preferred.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $55,000 per year.
