Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Wayspring. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals struggling with substance use disorder.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with substance use disorder.
- Provide direct patient care, including medication management, counseling, and education on behavioral health and medical conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical outcomes for patients.
- Participate in case management, care coordination, and contingency planning to ensure seamless patient care.
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in our electronic medical record system.
- Master's degree in nursing with a focus on psychiatric mental health nursing.
- Board certification from the AANP or ANCC as a PMHNP.
- Minimum of one year experience in psychiatric and primary care or substance use treatment.
- Passionate about helping the Medicaid population and individuals with substance use disorder.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
