At Servair Heating & Air Conditioning, we're seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Job Summary:

  • Install and maintain basic HVAC systems and other related components in residential and light commercial settings.
  • Work with high integrity to promote a positive company image and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe working practices following company policies.
  • Install HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Wire line and low-voltage connections to heating and cooling units.
  • Solder and braze copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units.
  • Install flex duct systems in residential and commercial buildings.
  • Connect gas lines to heating equipment properly.
  • Verify and load all necessary equipment and materials for each job.
  • Accurately complete paperwork for each installation.
  • Take precise readings on machines and understand their importance.
  • Upload photos of installations to customers' profiles in scheduling software.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • EPA Certification mandatory.
  • 2 years of experience in HVAC installation preferred.

  • Honest and dependable individual.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to distinguish between different HVAC equipment.
  • Self-motivated but able to take direction and work as part of a team.

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Read and write English fluently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely lift up to 100lbs.
  • Willingsness to work overtime, evenings, and weekends during peak seasons.
  • Continual climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

Compensation:

  • Payscale based on experience and performance.
  • Estimated annual salary: $45,000 - $60,000.
