About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic I to join our team at UL Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of various building equipment, including boilers, HVAC systems, compressors, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication and Installation: Perform electrical, welding, carpentry, and masonry work associated with building equipment, accessories, and components.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Produce support documentation, such as calculations, materials lists, and as-built drawings.
  • Assistance and Training: Provide assistance in various duties, including HVAC, mechanical, chemical, and electrical disciplines, and assist in problem-solving and training of subordinates.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as directed by management.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Electrical license required.
  • Experience: Experience maintaining commercial/industrial equipment highly preferred.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in a fast-paced environment.
