Job Title: Registered Dietitian

At Eliot Community Human Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing education and consultation to individuals with specific health, diet, nutrition, and activity needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one training and education to individuals in areas related to their nutrition and health needs.
  • Develop and conduct group trainings and workshops on general health and wellness topics, including nutrition and exercise.
  • Collaborate with individuals to develop personalized meal plans that meet their nutritional needs and goals.
  • Assist individuals in developing realistic plans for improving their health, diet, exercise, and nutrition, taking into account their preferences, budget, and abilities.
  • Work with individuals who have serious medical conditions, such as diabetes, obesity, and heart conditions, to develop nutrition plans and support them in making lifestyle changes.
  • Support individuals with eating disorders in accessing nutrients and developing a healthy lifestyle.
Location:

Community-based services will be provided in the Metro North region, with the office located in Malden, MA. A car and driver's license are required, and mileage will be reimbursed for community visits.

Qualifications:
  • At least two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably those with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
  • Dietitian/Nutritionist certification and a Bachelor's degree.
