Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Railey Vacations. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, owners, and staff, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and maintenance of vacation homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas.
  • Restock supplies and amenities as needed, ensuring that guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
  • Address any issues or concerns raised by guests or owners in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery.
  • Participate in regular inspections and feedback sessions to maintain high standards of quality and service.

Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, using initiative and judgment to resolve issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver cleaning equipment and supplies, as well as stand for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if required.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, with the ability to maintain and troubleshoot as needed.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, use arms and legs, and sit for most of the time.
  • Close visual acuity to perform tasks such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
  • Subject to internal and external environmental conditions, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
