Critical Care Nurse Specialist

At Mass General Brigham, we are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our nursing division, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of patient care and delivering high-quality, cost-effective services.

Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of patient care, including assessing patients, developing individualized plans of care, and implementing evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to coordinate patient care and promote efficient workflows
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in critical care nursing
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and discharge summaries
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid/current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Experience working in emergency or critical care settings, with a strong focus on trauma care and pediatric emergency services
- Strong clinical skills, including assessment, medication management, and invasive procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interprofessional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher, with completion of advanced coursework in critical care or related areas
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as life insurance, employee assistance programs, and paid time off.
The estimated salary range is based on national averages for registered nurse positions in the Boston area, taking into account factors such as cost of living, industry standards, and labor market conditions.
