Job Overview

As a Float Licensed Optician with Vision Associates Inc, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and selling eyewear products. You will work independently at our North Canton location, with the full support of our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with patients to understand their visual needs and build loyalty to our practice and dispensary.
  • Analyze and resolve customer service issues, providing a positive experience for each patient.
  • Check that finished eyewear meets our optical standards and customer requirements.
  • Learn and support our policies and procedures for opening, closing, and operating the dispensary.
  • Ensure best practices are delivered to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Work independently with regular communication and support from your District Manager.
  • Foster positive working relationships with practice doctors, leadership, and staff.
  • Travel required between multiple practices.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years previous experience in the optical industry.
  • Valid Ohio LDO.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
