Job Summary:

This appointment will be in the Advanced MRI Fellowship Program, receiving advanced training in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. The position will focus on providing advanced MRI and cardiovascular experience to trainees, with a focus on advanced MR techniques like 4D Flow imaging for the heart, aorta, liver, and kidneys.

Responsibilities:
  • The fellowship is housed in the cardiovascular imaging section and focuses on providing advanced MRI and cardiovascular experience to trainees.
  • The position will often supervise and teach residents and medical students.
  • An additional component of this appointment outside of the fellowship is providing independent clinical services for the Department of Radiology as necessary and as assigned by the Department Chair.
  • Work may be carried out at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Unitypoint Health-Meriter Hospital and/or other radiology outpatient or outreach sites and extended coverage areas as necessary.

  • 4 Year Residency in Radiology
License/Certification:

Required

MD - Physician - State Licensure

WI Medical License by start date.

Board Eligible or Board Certified by American Board of Radiology by start date.

Work Type:

Full or Part Time: 50% - 100%

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Appointment Type, Duration:

Terminal, 12 month appointment.

This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding
