Position Summary
Under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager, the technician will oversee corrective maintenance tasks for our Group Homes and ATS Programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts thorough inspections of work locations, identifying fleet and facility items requiring repair or replacement, and reports findings to the Maintenance Manager.
- Performs transportation duties, minor repairs, and regular preventative maintenance checks as necessary.
- Completes project-based tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- Establishes and nurtures relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Documents all work and supplies in a clear and comprehensive manner.
- Assists with seasonal activities and services as required.
- Ensures all equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
- Collaborates with facility maintenance staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Trade School certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of general maintenance experience is required.
- Must be capable of lifting and carrying over 50 pounds.
- Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment.
- A valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to effectively fulfill responsibilities.
- Ability to prioritize, schedule, and manage multiple projects efficiently.
