ABOUT SMALL FORMATS

We strive to provide a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring that products are stocked, available, accurately priced, and well-signed on the sales floor in our smaller format stores. As experts in service, operations, and efficiency, this team excels in various store functions, including cashiering, stocking, presentation, and price accuracy. You will deliver outstanding guest service, personalizing each interaction and anticipating their needs.

  • Insight into guest service fundamentals and the ability to foster a guest-first culture throughout the store.
  • Experience in retail business essentials, including sales trends, pricing strategies, inventory management, and process optimization.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting daily and weekly tasks to meet business objectives and achieve sales targets.
As a Small Format Team Member, your daily responsibilities may include:
  • Creating a welcoming atmosphere by genuinely greeting all guests.
  • Observing guests to quickly assess their needs and preferences, adjusting your approach based on their cues.
  • Engaging with guests authentically, asking questions to better understand their specific requirements.
  • Being knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to resolve guest inquiries and enhance their experience.
  • Expressing gratitude to guests and letting them know we appreciate their choice to shop with us.
  • Assisting guests while managing your workload with minimal disruption.
  • Working across departments to ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and organized for guests.
  • Restocking products on the sales floor.
  • Implementing layout changes, transitions, and sales plans across all departments.
  • Conducting weekly price changes and ensuring accurate signage for regular and promotional items.
  • Performing inventory scans and audits to maintain accuracy.
  • Supporting major transitions and inventory management.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in both interior and exterior areas, including waste disposal and restroom upkeep.
  • Executing product pulls and managing backstock efficiently.
  • Processing inbound deliveries to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Completing daily and weekly audits of the backroom.
  • Operating power equipment only if certified.
  • Ensuring backroom organization and following equipment guidelines.
  • Adhering to processes with attention to detail, monitoring your progress, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Promoting a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Working safely at all times to protect yourself and others, identifying and correcting hazards, and adhering to safety policies.
  • Supporting guest services such as backup cashiering and order pickups while maintaining compliance with relevant laws.
  • Performing additional duties as needed based on business requirements.
