Position Summary:
- Facilitates diagnostic support for physicians by performing organ or body imaging on patients.
- Administers and documents isotope dosages following established departmental guidelines.
- Monitors patients throughout procedures and communicates any irregularities.
- Utilizes experience and judgment to strategize and achieve objectives.
- Engages in a variety of responsibilities.
- Operates under general oversight.
- Requires a certain level of creativity and flexibility.
- Typically reports to a lead technologist or department manager.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience in radiology, along with certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.), or the American Society of Clinical Pathology. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field is essential.

Navarro Regional Medical Center serves as your local healthcare provider, a licensed acute care facility with 162 beds offering both inpatient and outpatient services, diagnostic imaging, emergency care, and surgical services. We provide cardiac rehabilitation, physical and speech therapy, an outpatient surgical center, advanced mammography, and a state-of-the-art CT scanner equipped with the latest diagnostic technology. Our facility includes a specialized procedures room for interventional radiology and heart catheterizations, as well as a bronchoscopy suite. We believe in the strength of individuals to deliver exceptional care. Our team consists of 51 physicians and a full complement of healthcare professionals, dedicated to fostering healing, compassion, and connection for patients and families in our community.
