About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Team Member to join our team at Ingles Markets. As a key member of our produce department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the freshest and highest-quality produce possible.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and prepare produce items to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Assist with cleaning, preparing, and packaging products, stocking, merchandising, and maintaining our strict sanitization standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service and greet customers with a smile
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
