**Job Summary**
As a Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines. You will work independently to plan and implement care, utilizing your clinical knowledge and skills to optimize patient outcomes.
**Responsibilities**
* Provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act* Utilize the American Nurses Association's (ANA) Nursing: Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice to guide your practice* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes* Maintain current certifications and education requirements*
**Requirements**
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations* Less than one year of experience as a registered professional nurse* Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)* Other REQUIRED cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS, etc.)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* BSN degree preferred* Other preferred RN attributes are unit specific. Please refer to the specific clinical unit.
