Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively as part of a functional or cross-functional team.
  • Engage in assembly, disassembly, reassembly, fabrication, screening, repair, adjustment, testing, and verification of intricate electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems according to established military, commercial, and aerospace standards.
  • Typical systems include avionics, missile systems, weapon control mechanisms, aircraft armament, bomb racks, launchers, and related equipment.
  • Electrical responsibilities may encompass the removal and installation of components, connectors, and wiring within cabinets, chassis, and console assemblies.
  • Mechanical tasks may involve the removal, installation, and precise adjustment of mechanical components.
  • Structural duties may include light machining, sheet metal work, drilling, riveting, and airframe repairs.
  • Conduct informal, in-process checks on manufactured or processed items to assist authorized inspection and testing personnel in validating product quality.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze engineering drawings, production plans, and other technical documents, with extensive knowledge of complex electronic, electromechanical, and optical systems.
  • Proficient in using pneumatic tools, electric tools, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Experience in mechanically inclined tasks and disassembly work is highly prioritized.
  • Mechanical aptitude is essential.
  • Experience in automotive, aerospace, biomedical, or racing industries is relevant.
  • Ability to perform tasks such as drilling, bolting, cutting metal, splicing wires, and vehicle modifications.
  • Physical capability to bend, reach, and lift objects in accordance with safety guidelines.
