- Engage in sales and business development by building relationships with clients, real estate agents, attorneys, and community organizations.
- Conduct meetings with potential clients to gather mortgage applications and create tailored plans based on their needs.
- Identify marketing strategies to promote LINKBANK's offerings, including educational initiatives for consumers and realtors.
- Prepare and submit mortgage applications along with necessary documentation to the loan operations team.
- Adhere to industry regulations and internal policies to support risk management and operational integrity.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients, as well as third-party vendors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative approach with management to ensure compliance with bank policies.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current mortgage lending regulations.
- Proficient in computer operations and Windows applications.
- Active involvement in community events and strong networking capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years in mortgage origination is required.
Certifications: NMLS Certification is mandatory.
Travel Requirements: Ability to travel within the bank's operational areas and meet clients as needed.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Clear verbal communication skills for effective instruction and information sharing.
- Ability to read and understand complex documents and schedules.
- Manual dexterity for operating office equipment and computers.
- Visual acuity for computer work.
- Mobility to coordinate departmental activities and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
