Northwell Health Physician Partners is seeking a highly motivated Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health Hospitalist team at Staten Island University Hospital. The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
The selected candidate will work in our 35-bed inpatient unit, providing short-term hospital care to evaluate and stabilize patients with acute psychiatric disorders. Our team focuses on returning patients to normal functioning as soon as possible while rebuilding self-esteem and improving socialization.
Staten Island University Hospital's Department of Behavioral Health Sciences offers comprehensive psychiatric care in a private, patient-centered environment. With over 1,450 discharges per year, it is considered one of the most active comprehensive mental health centers on Staten Island.
