Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at our rural healthcare facility. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a supportive and collaborative nursing environment.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care of residents within the patient care unit settings. You will work closely with a Registered Nurse to ensure continuity of care and provide direct care to residents, as well as supervise the care given by NAC's and supportive staff members.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and plan the nursing care of residents, including medication administration and skin checks.
  • Provide direct care to residents, including one-on-one activities and outdoor garden time.
  • Supervise the care given by NAC's and supportive staff members.
  • Participate in resident and family teaching, as determined in scope of license.
  • Maintain a patient advocate role, focusing on the district's mission.
Requirements:
  • General Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS.
  • Minimum Years of Experience: Less than 1 year.
