As a Surgical Services Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our award-winning organization, recognized for its excellence in clinical services. Our community-based healthcare system in Roanoke, VA, includes a comprehensive network of hospitals, primary and specialty physician practices, and additional supportive services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- High School diploma required.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
- Eligibility to register as a Surgical Technologist with the VA Department of Health Professions is mandatory.
Licensure/Certification:
- Current AHA-BLS-HCP certification from the American Heart Association is required.
Experience:
- No prior experience is necessary.
Other Requirements:
- Successful completion of a structured orientation program.
