Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Carilion Clinic. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain operating rooms and equipment
  • Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • High School graduate required
  • Graduate of approved Surgical Technology Program
  • Eligible to register as a Surgical Technologist with the VA Department of Health Professions
  • AHA-BLS-HCP certification from the American Heart Association
