Valent U.S.A. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans that drive cost reduction, improve quality, and enhance supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in procurement, with a strong background in strategic sourcing and a proven track record of successful procurement strategy implementation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to drive cost reduction and improve supply chain efficiency
- Identify and implement cost reduction strategies while improving quality and delivery
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that mitigate risk and improve supplier relationships
- Manage timely strategic sourcing events and negotiate supply agreements and contracts
- Develop and implement a Supplier Relationship Management program to drive continuous improvement and innovation
- 7+ years of experience in procurement
- SAP experience strongly preferred
- CPSM, CSCP, CPM, or CPIM certification a plus
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and act quickly to solve problems
