At Professional Teleconcepts, we are seeking experienced Tower Foremen to assist in the construction, installation, and maintenance of communications towers and support structures. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that delivers innovative wireless solutions.

A Day in the Life as a Tower Foreman

• Climb and work on communications towers for installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment; perform tower maintenance under close supervision.
• Complete required Pro-Tel and customer daily reports as needed.
• Lead and document the daily job task safety analysis (JTSA).
• Perform sweep, PIM, and OTDR testing.
• Conduct PPE inspections.
• Follow assembly instructions, use proper tools, don harnesses, and practice climbing techniques.
• Read and interpret drawings and use contained information.
• Set up capstan hoists, operate hoisting equipment with various rigging configurations, and use hand tools.
• Respect hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working near energized lines and equipment.
• Climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. loads.
• Analyze situations accurately and take appropriate action.
• Communicate effectively through written and oral means.
• Recognize safety hazards, perform JTSA, and conduct duties safely.
• Demonstrate knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical devices.

What You Need to Succeed

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Possess authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Hold 3+ years of industry experience, including previous tower climbing experience.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Be prepared for travel and extended overnight stays.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including seasonally hot or cold temperatures and climate-related weather.
• May be required to work day, evening, or night shifts, and overtime, weekends, and out-of-town assignments for extended periods.
• May attend training sessions to acquire mandatory certifications.
